The Next Generation Jazz Band of New Orleans will be opening for the Jazz Ambassadors.

The Jazz Ambassadors is the United States Army’s premier big band. This 19-member ensemble, formed in 1969, has received great acclaim both at home and abroad performing America’s original art form, jazz.

The Next Generation Jazz Band is a local community big band made up of student musicians.  The big band is made up of some of the best young musicians in the surrounding area.  Performing as special guests will be Wendell Brunious and Walter Harris from Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
