Featuring Irving Roth
Irving Roth was born in Kosice, Czechoslovakia on September 2, 1929. He survived the horrors of Auschwitz and Buchenwald. He emigrated to the US in 1947. the memories of the Nazi death camps never faded and he devoted his time and effort to educating young and old on the horrors of the Holocaust and the evils of prejudice and anti-Semitism.
He received the Spirit of Anne Frank Outstanding Citizen Award from the Anne Frank Center USA for promoting human rights, social justice and for conceiving, developing and initiating the Adopt a Survivor program, which has been instituted in high schools and colleges nationally and internationally.
