Accessibility
The Jefferson Performing Arts Center is equipped with both ramps and elevators to accommodate all patrons and visitors.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, JPAC provides a safe and enjoyable event experience for all patrons. Below you will find information about ADA accommodations for parking, seating, wheelchairs and other areas of interest.
-
Accessible Seating
-
Wheelchair accessible seating, semi-ambulatory seating and removable armrest seating are located on the orchestra level of the Jefferson Performing Arts Center. When requesting tickets, please identify your needs and/or if you need a seating location that is accessible for a standard-sized wheelchair, larger scooter, or other mobility device. Guests purchasing a ticket for an accessible seat may also purchase companion seats.
If you have purchased a ticket that is not designated as an accessible seating location (ASL/ADA) but you are in need of such, please visit the Box Office located at the main entrance on event days.
-
Wheelchairs/OPDMDs
-
For patrons entering JPAC with mobility disabilities, manual and power wheelchairs will be allowed in the facility. Please arrive with your own wheelchair. JPAC does not supply any wheelchairs. Powered wheelchairs users must operate the device at the speed of pedestrian traffic.
Due to legitimate safety concerns such as constricting passageways in crowded settings, JPAC cannot accommodate electric scooters, larger electric devices and other power-driven mobility devices (OPDMDs) such as golf carts and Segways. People with disabilities using fuel or combustion engines such as ATV’s, other engine-driven devices and hover boards are also prohibited indoors for health and environmental reasons. Storage for your device is not available.
In such cases, our ADA Representative provides curb-side service to accommodate and help you find your seat with JPAC’s own limited mobility devices.

ADA Personnel
-
ADA Greeters are members of the JPAC Staff who are specifically designated to assist guests with disabilities and their companions during events. They can be identified by bright blue badges with an ADA wheelchair icon. Because they are actively assisting patrons during events, ADA Greeters move throughout the venue. Patrons who need help locating an ADA Greeter can ask any JPAC ushers or security for assistance.
ADA personell is staffed for all events at Jefferson Performing Arts Center.
